WHY CHOOSE KAWASAKI KLX 150L?



Motor has become a daily necessity for most people. Two-wheeled vehicles has become an alternative for simple and fuel efficient, and easy enough to penetrate the urban congestion that has been getting worse. So why did I decide to choose Kawasaki KLX 150L?


Previously I had had a motorcycle, either duck or pure motor sport. By looking at the needs and comfort aspects, I also consider seeking dual-purpose bike. In Indonesia, not many manufacturers who provide this type of motor. One manufacturer that provides is Kawasaki, who was only issued a Kawasaki KLX 150S models. Unfortunately KLX 150S-sized fairly small when compared to my body that has a height 178 cm. After a long wait, finally released the Kawasaki KLX 150L with a larger size than the KLX 150S.

In the specification, KLX 150L is very similar to its predecessor, KLX 150S, such as 4-stroke engine Soch with a power of 8.6 kW / 8,000 rpm and a torque of 12 Nm / 6500 rpm. Significant differences between the KLX 150L with KLX 150S is only found on the wheel. If KLX 150S uses rear wheel ring 16 and rear ring 19, the KLX 150L measuring taller with rear-wheel-sized ring 18 and the front wheel ring 21. The purpose of buying a motor KLX 150L is actually only for daily operations and occasional vehicles used for touring, both at close range, medium range, and long distance. For the moment I am not interested in using KLX 150L for blusukan or enduro in the woods.

My first impression as I climbed the motor at a price of Rp 26.5 million (OTR Jogja) is high !! Even my legs are not perfect stride, but helped by the shock of the 'sinkhole' when ridden. From the engine side and the actual performance there is nothing quite special about this bike. With only 150 cc engine and dual-purpose motorcycles manifold, the engine is responsive at lower rounds with a very soft voice, very nice for dark-skid onto a busy street. But note also that this bike handlebar wide enough, so it needs a little adjustment if previously using pure sport bike. As an entry level dual-purpose motorcycle, do not expect much with a top speed because basically this bike is not for fighting speeding. The maximum speed of 100-110 kilometers per hour has also been good. Anyway for speeding affair do not expect more. Want speeding mending find another motor.

By using a dual-purpose motorcycles such as this, stop and go on the streets of the crowded city still quite tasty. It will not be afraid nerjang flood.
